Anyone over 30 years old will surely remember the Gadget Show, a channel 5 programme that focused on consumer technology. Fun fact, The Gadget Show is actually one of the UK’s longest running returnable formats and is still running over 20 years later. Originally launched on TV in 2004, the Gadget show Podcast is now available through YouTube.
One of the main stars of the Gadget Show is Jason Bradbury. Jason is famous for his unique style and powerful enthusiasm toward reviewing new technology. Three years ago, Jason was introduced to us here at Synch and we got along swimmingly. Jason loved our innovation and we loved Jason’s enthusiasm and feedback on the OG Super Monkey, needless to say Jason and his family have been riding a Synch ever since
So, when we launched the new Super Monkey Pro we were really excited to hear Jason was interested in upgrading his ride. The plan was simple, we make a custom Super Monkey Pro for Jason, and Jackson (Jason’s eldest son) would inherit the OG Super Monkey. So, this was a win win for everyone, especially Jackson. Incidentally, Jackson has just won a huge gaming competition and is becoming a celebrity in his own right. Jackson is one of the UK’s top players for Fortnite and has gained a considerable following on TikTok (@Rezhexx).
Jason really knew what he wanted, even down to supplying us with the paint code for his custom Super Monkey Pro. This may or may not have been after Jason waved down a lady driving a sporty Audi to get the colour code of their graphite grey car.
So, we got the frame powder coated we got to work on building one of the best-looking bikes we have built to date. We were pretty excited to deliver this personally to Jason.
We drove to Newquay, where Jason now lives, and met up with him at Project Eighty Three. Project Eighty Three is a great new spot in Newquay with a really cool biker café and great retail store opposite.
